According to Hollywood Today one of the leading contenders for American idol could lose because he chose a Bob Marley song. I shot the Sheriff (and myself in the foot!).

I don’t really see anything wrong with that song, I like a bit of jamming now and again but heck I’ve kinda lost touch with whats hip in mass-produced media consumption.

Is this a genuine case of mistake or did he do it on purpose?

Hollywood today suggests there is a conspiracy! That Jason doesn’t really want to be famous anymore so deliberately sang a couple of duffers! Simon Cowell (in his renowned style) said:

If they are correct then fair play Jason, you’ve clearly seen the light and want out of this corporate music factory racket.
